New year's at the Waldorf Hotel! I only caught the last bit of TRS-80's set but I liked what I heard. There are a few "I love you" 's spray painted around East Van. Not a bad message to see driving down Hastings. Add Comment Trish, or Trizzzza as I've dubbed her, and I went for breakfast at Seb's this morning. I had sweet bell peppers and spinach scrambled eggs, homefries and coffee, which was actually pretty good. All around an enjoyable meal with a cool lady. Then I went to the bank at Main and Hastings and marveled at the blueness of the sky and the narrowness of this building. I may or may not have gotten a parking ticket. I don't want to talk about it. The sky is so blue today! That plane flying overhead was superb timing I might add. Tonight I hung out with Kelly R and her husband Shawn in North Van. We watched The A-Team, which was partially filmed in Vancouver, on their giant new TV. I wasn't impressed, with the movie, not the television. There are way too many things to mention but the blue filter got really annoying and all the enhanced blue eyes was just strange. And am I the only one that doesn't think Bradley Cooper is as hot as Hollywood wants us to think? This is the home theatre corner to my bachelor pad. Not shown are my many VHS movies. I think a movie collection tells a lot about a person. What that might be? I'm not sure. I hung out with Kelly G last night, she invited me over because her coworker made cheesecakes for everyone in her office and she was kind enough to share. I just have to say, it was among some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. I don't really know all the ingredients but I do know there were sweet potatoes in it. I know, crazy. And then I helped her wrap x-mas presents, well, only one actually. I chose to tackle the un-boxed metal toy top. What can I say, I like a challenge. I went to some big box stores today. I know, how dare I? But sometimes you just have to. I didn't actually go to Home Depot though, the sky just looked cooler over there. The sky was pretty awesome today, making the light kinda incredible come this early winter sundown. This on the corner where my building is. And on the roof looking towards downtown. |
