I checked out the new Aquatic Centre at the Vancouver Olympic Centre tonight. I've started up my routine again, it feels really good to be back swimming. It was designed by Hughes Condon Marler Architects and I have a feeling the people on the design team weren't avid swimmers. I could go on a little pool/swimming lane etiquette rant about all the annoying encounters I've had (at every pool I frequent here) but I think I'd just be wasting energy on typing. These are just some of the things that will never change no matter how much you want them to.
