I took Apple Bomb to a new car doctor this morning. I could see she was hurtin' and was prepared for a big bill but the fellas at Granville & Avery Automotive are straight talkers and only did the work that was actually necessary.
I'll be repeat business for them and recommend this place to anyone with a car. While she was getting pampered I went for a little walk around Marpole and ended up at Bean Around the World. I spent a good 5 hours there reading Cosmopolis by Don Delillo. I'm really digging his writing style; poetic modern insights, how could I not like that?
