Trizzzza and I went to Nuba at the Waldorf Hotel for a birthday lunch. I ordered the daily vegan soup and the Najib special. I have to say it was probably among the worst meals I've had in a long time, as illustrated by Trizzzza's face. I'm not sure what's going on but my experiences at the Waldorf have been less than stellar and contradictory to all the hype buzzing around this place. And I've eaten at Nuba before and it was good, perhaps the Gastown location hasn't shared its secret? So..looks like it's three strikes yer out. For now I guess. Then we headed over
to 7 Sweet Sins for some dessert. The carrot cake made up for the disaster lunch.
