I am interested in the histories and functions, as well as the psychology behind
popular commodities; I am currently focusing on the simplification of an object.
Using items that are widely recognizable and have a prominent role within popular
culture, I am influenced by the Warholian aesthetic, of using an uncomplicated
representation of an object with the intention of shifting its interpretation, allowing
the viewer to scrutinize and criticize the object and its purpose.
