Another perfect day down by Jericho Beach. Beautiful Vancouver weather coming in strong this year. Add Comment Is it just me or are colours about a million times more vibrant than they used to be? I had been wanting to see the documentary "How Much Does Your Building Weigh, Mr. Foster?" for awhile. I heard about it two years ago and have missed a couple opportunities to see it on a big screen but finally made time to go to the screening hosted by the AIBC Annual Conference at the new convention centre. I thoroughly enjoyed it but found the music to be overly dramatic. I was driving through Richmond and stopped to get a shot of this temple. It was a nice day for it. Tonight was the premiere of the documentary on west coast modern architecture, Coast Modern. See my klog post here. I was down in Chinatown shooting some street photos for a project I'm working on with Architecture For Humanity. I spent the afternoon over at Jericho Beach and the Jericho Sailing Centre. It was such a lovely afternoon. Except my face got a sunburn. Oops. Tonight there was another Perigee moon. I wish I saw it at the horizon where it looks largest. Believe it or not they actually paid to use a billboard to advertise a book. You don't see that everyday. |
