Check out Canadian Architect's post about the installation on the University of British Columbia's campus designed and built by School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture. I had the opportunity to work with Joe Dahmen and SALA again to photograph construction and the final design.

I was back in the Armoury District in Vancouver to photograph this project for Haeccity Studio Architecture. A two-storey apartment renovation, with feature stairs that have a continuous perforated metal screen connecting the entrance level to the living spaces above, styled to create a contemporary retro vibe.
These homes in Ottawa designed by Hobin Architecture create a new take on car storage. Designed to have more front yard space and take the focus off of vehicles parked on the street, they share a laneway that leads to individual garages and carports topped with outdoor deck space and layered landscaping. It's an innovative take on keeping neighbourhoods pedestrian friendly.
The Carson is a converted 1970s hotel into apartments in Ottawa. It's located between Sandy Hill and Centretown making it a popular building for young professionals in the tech industry. The design uses colour and art to take you out of any remnants of a dated hotel and provides functional spaces for urban dwellers. Design by CSV Architects and lighting by Flux Lighting.
Last summer I photographed the new Calgary Library shortly before it was open to the public. Designed by Norwegian architects Snøhetta in collaboration with Dialog Design.
I worked with the talented team at Linebox to photograph Level 4 and 5 at the new Shopify offices in Ottawa. They created so many spaces for everyone to congregate or hide away for a little private time. I look forward to seeing more levels!
The temporary Serpentine installation designed by Bjarke Ingels Group was installed on King Street in Toronto over the summer. It will be installed in various cities around the world finally ending up in Vancouver permanently beside the Westbank offices.
La Palma restaurant is located on in the Toronto's Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood, and is run by designer Alexandra Hutchison and her partner, chef Craig Harding. I love the desert modern vibes throughout the space, achieved through colour and shapes. Check out the story on dezeen for more info and images! I've had the opportunity to photograph a few Foster + Partners projects over the years and they do not disappoint. The recently completed York Station at York University in Toronto was a treat from all angles.
Check out this month's Western Living Condo. There's a feature story on Haeccity Studio Architecture's M Flat project in Richmond, BC. We photographed this space last December and love seeing it get published in the glossies.
