I jumped at the chance to photograph Stark Architecture's beautiful Drifter House in Whistler. The owners are super cool people who are so happy they have a house where they can display their art collection. What a space to spend the day!

I was back down at UBC for a super early morning shoot at the new Aquatic Centre. I got to photograph the space while the university swim team practiced. As an avid swimmer since age five I love photographing pools and seeing how much pool design has changed since I was a kid. Architecture by Acton Ostry Architects and MJMA.
I worked with West One Design to photograph this beautiful post and beam house in Lion's Bay. I love west coast modern architecture and especially love it when a home owner sees how special these houses are and renovates rather than razes. Had a great shoot out at UBC photographing the new Leed Platinum Student Union Building, also known as the Nest. Architecture by Dialog and B+H Associated Architects.
Just wanted to post a few shots from a recent shoot for Dakota Homes and interior designer Tanya Krpan. We focused on the kitchen, powder room and master bath in this contemporary traditional home for a bachelor in Richmond.
Had a great time shooting the new Vancouver location of Peaked Pies in the west end for Ply Architecture. The first location opened in Whistler a few years ago and the traditional Australian meat pies were a hit. It's a cozy little spot on Denman with beautiful big windows and a custom light fixture painted by graffiti artist Taka Sudo.
Today I was happy to see designboom, one of the top architecture and design blogs, posted my Hybrids photo collage series.
Click on the photo to see more images and read about the concept. Last week I decided to spontaneously surprise my best friend at her new house in a small town east of Kingston, Ontario. I was one of the many Air Miles members to redeem points before they expired at the end of the year, only to find out they canceled the expiration plan shortly after I used them. I don't regret it because it was a great surprise and a desperately needed visit after not seeing each other for over a year. Although she and her husband are working their way through renovations, I wanted to photograph the spaces that were clean and finished since it's such a great 100+ year old house. I'm excited to see how the rest of the renovations go over the next year and will be taking more photos during upcoming visits.
I went on a little day trip over to Victoria to photograph a couple projects for HCMA on the University of Victoria campus. They designed the new addition to the Continuing Studies Building, bridging the old and new building with a bright, open atrium space with loads of hangout spaces for the students. Found out my print, Salton Sea No. 5 from my Salton Sea photo series, will be used in the upcoming E! show The Arrangement. Check out the trailer, looks like it's gonna be a juicy one!
