St. James Park and Pavilion is a project I recently photographed for RAW Design, PMA Landscape Architects and lighting designer Marcel Dion. Located in downtown Toronto the park was revitalized and reopened at the end of August to the delight of the neighbouring community. The wooden pavilion is a new central addition to the park and creates an enjoyable meeting place, picnic area and glowing showstopper once the sun goes down. I look forward to returning in the winter to see the contract between the wood and snow.
The temporary Serpentine installation designed by Bjarke Ingels Group was installed on King Street in Toronto over the summer. It will be installed in various cities around the world finally ending up in Vancouver permanently beside the Westbank offices.
La Palma restaurant is located on in the Toronto's Trinity-Bellwoods neighbourhood, and is run by designer Alexandra Hutchison and her partner, chef Craig Harding. I love the desert modern vibes throughout the space, achieved through colour and shapes. Check out the story on dezeen for more info and images!
